Gun Show - January 11, 12 & 13 at the Cornell Community Center.

CANDLE LIGHT EVENT AT BRUNET ISLAND STATE PARK - Saturday, January 26 - 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  Candle lit trail for classic skiing and snowshoeing.  The beach will also be open for sledding until dark.  No state park sticker required for this event.  Warming fires provided and warm beverages available.  Call Park for conditions and information 715/239-6888.  Sponsored by the Cornell Lions Club.

CORNELL MEDALLION HUNT - will be starting on March 10th.  Clues will be posted at Stacker Cafe, Sandi's Drive In, Cornell Courier and the Cornell City Office.  Two medallions will be hidden again this year, with a lot of terrific prizes donated by Krueger's Repair, Cornell Hardware, Cornell Pharmacy, River Country Co-op, and the Cornell Courier.

Kids Community Christmas - December 1st  at the Cornell Elementary School, many fun activities and Santa & Mrs. Claus will be there!

Santa Claus is coming to town on December 6th.  Community Center with pancake and sausage breakfast.  See Santa and have fun decorating ornaments and more.

Stacker City Christmas Parade - Held on December 8th on Main Street.  Starting at 4:00 p.m. at the Cornell City Park, led by Santa & Mrs. Claus, and will go to the Mill Yard Park where food and refreshments will be served.  Come join in the Christmas cheer.
